Mission Monday: Mission San Jose in Fremont, California

Day breaks over the mission dedicated to St Joseph, a foot path running through the mission’s centuries old cemetery, flanked by the cross on one side and Mary on the other. The mission is part of the string of 21 California Missions, and is dedicated to St. Joseph. Located in Fremont, a bustling bedroom suburb of San Jose, Ca. It was founded by missionary Fathers in 1797 to serve the Ohlone Indian Tribe.
