I leave you with one last post before I head out to serve the pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago – the road to St. James’s tomb in Santiago de Compostela. This mission basilica is located on the grounds of the Mission San Francisco de Assisi. The stained glass windows depicted on the 21 mission in California. A large stained glass window above the choir loft is an image of Saint Francis of Assisi. The Lenten cross holds the prayers of the faithful as they journey through lent to the foot of the cross.
