Mission San Juan Batista – A statue of St. John the Baptist gracefully watches over the original El Camino Real located between the mission and the farm land in the background. El Camino Real is a 600 mile mission trail which connects all of California’s original 21 missions, beginning at San Diego’s Mission de Alcalá and ending at Sonoma’s Mission San Francisco Solano.  The history of Mission San Juan Batista, founded in 1797, can be found here.
